Lichen Creep is a lava-veined cavern that has been slowly mined out over eons for the valuable levitating stone ore that is used to power various creations in the Underfoot. Narrow veins of lava wend their way through the cavern floor and walls, occasionally forming small lava pools and giving the entire area a molten orange glow.

Built by a race of ant-like creatures known as the Cliknar, Arthicrex is the great anthill of the Underfoot. The interior of Arthicrex itself is composed of winding circular tunnels and circular rooms, built from mud and trimmed with stone and chitin. Cliknar live crowded in spaces that most species would find confining.

Beginning at 3:00 AM PDT on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, all SOE game servers will be offline for hardware maintenance. This includes all of our MMOs as well as TCGs. We expect this downtime to last around 4 hours.

Water, boiling from the lava that is the life's blood of the Underfoot, pours into the Cooling Chambers from a sinkhole in Brell's Rest. The water is cooled by Brell's servants as it flows through the chambers and eventually grows cold enough to turn to ice. This water can be sent to other realms during its cooling stages, as needed.

There are plenty of new things coming out with the release of Travelers, and we've only scratched the surface so far. We recently talked about the new influence and conquest mechanics, and now you'll get to see another new piece of the set: shifting.

Located just off Brell's Rest, Brell's Arena is a small battleground that was created by Brell Serilis to allow the gnolls and kobolds to "play" a vicious game known as the Boomerang Brawl.

We've made some improvements to the classic missions and have added some new hot zones.

Kael Drakkal, home of the Storm Giants, lies at the easternmost edge of the Great Scar. It has been the site of many great battles, for the dragons of Velious regard the Scars of Veeshan as the holiest of ground, and view the giant's invasion of the Great Scar as sacrilege.
