Labor Day – September 1st

Labor Day marks the end of summer for those of us the in United States. SOE would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!
Phone Technical Support will be closed on Monday, September 1st and will resume normal hours on Tuesday September 2nd. Email and Chat Support will be available on Monday September 1st from 10 AM PST until 7 PM PST. We will be offering limited in-game support during normal business hours.

We have two great choices up for grabs in the August Loot Tournament weekend in Legends of Norrath! Starting at 7AM PDT on August 23rd, for just ten (10) event passes each participant will receive three (3) Legends of Norrath booster packs, a Trial of Justice (4P10 ) promotional card and his or her choice of either an EverQuest® Familiar of King Gelaqua (4EQP4) or EverQuest® II Parrot (4EQIIP4) loot card depending upon their system settings! Participating players who place in the top 25 of each event receive additional booster packs. Please note that participation is limited to U.S. residents only.

 SOE showcased our two online TCG's at Gen Con this year - Legends of Norrath and Star Wars Galaxies™ Trading Card Game: Champions of the Force. On Thursday night, SOE Community Relations team members, Grimwell, Gnobrin, Minerva and Amnerys, hosted a Meet & Greet party at Jillian's in downtown Indianapolis. The room was filled with players from our EverQuest, EverQuest II, Star Wars: Galaxies, The Matrix Online, Vanguard and Legends of Norrath communities, and even some Pirates (of the Burning Seas variety).

"Community Address" combines a live presentation with a streaming
video broadcast online. Smed will give both Fan Faire attendees and gamers
worldwide the kind of inside look at SOE products usually reserved for

Once upon a time, people went on vacation and were pretty much out of reach until they got home. Can you believe it? Oh em gee. Nowadays you can't go out to eat, to a movie, or even into...eww...the little elves' room, without hearing someone talking on a cell phone or sending a text message. Laptops, cell phones, and portable devices are taking over the world, and far be it from us to prevent anyone from communicating with their loved ones while they're at Fan Faire. (However, conducting actual business is strictly prohibited, as this is supposed to be a fun event!)

Sign Up for the EQ Expansion Beta Introducing the new and improved EverQuest Expansion Beta sign-up page! The Beta sign-up process has been made easier for you… and for us! The new system places you in a pool of potential beta testers. When the open stages occur, beta testers will automatically be selected from that pool. We will, however, still be limiting the number of participants during different Beta stages the difference is that now you don't have to wait for a window of opportunity. The Beta sign-up page will remain open. Once you sign up, you do not need to sign up again. Please remember that when you sign up to participate in any beta you agree to the Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) terms which in summary means you agree not to disclose information about the expansion. hours sifting through nominees and debating who is worthy of the prize at hand,
a free passage to Fan Faire 2008 held at the prestigious Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas. With such pressure
over who to grant this opportunity of a lifetime to, outsiders who have tried
to touch the Tylenol bottle in the community area have taken their life in
their hands. After rigorous days spent concentrating and much deliberation, a
conclusion has been reached! It is a pleasure to announce the two winners of

The EverQuest Glossary is an ongoing project that we'd like to invite all players to participate in. Below is our current glossary, but there's still room for improvement. If you're new to Norrath and looking to decipher some of the jargon you're hearing in-game, this is the place to start. You'll find loads of abbreviations broken down, and definitions for all kinds of crazy internet and gaming terminology. Or if you're an EQ veteran and you'd like to contribute, we're gladly taking suggestions over on the Official EQ Forums.
